PGame: We are Back!! PALERMO first event

Post by Graveller » Aug Sat 01, 2020 4:26 pm

On Monday, WTA resumes in Palermo.

And no way that we would miss this event in the PGame.

The long wait has ended ...

Hope all is well with you and family, as well as your Nation, Grav'. Yet, indeed, 'tis good to have some semblance of the sport in progress, the NBA doing quite well so far playing in the bubble with no players testing positive at this point, ratings having been more than decent w/some members of the public obviously needing a diversion from the current planet-wide crisis. For tennis, there are misgivings amongst the players to play, but some are daring to dare within limits, as established. Nice lineup for Palermo to begin. Yet, noticed for the international events (Palermo, Prague and Lexington) that the prize money was reduced from 220k to 202k and change. We'll see how this unfolds, as well as participation in the PGame.

I did little update here on the rolling ranking: all that is happening is people losing 2019-points :-)

I do not apply a system of keeping 2019 points: cancelled = losing the points (as happens in other years when an event is not organised anymore).

But for those wanting an update: Rex has kept his #1 spot despite losing more than 400 points because the rest lost even more. He now has been #1 for 44 weeks, and it won't end very soon as he still has a comfortable lead (98 pt) over #2, Jeff in Texas.

Ranking at the moment:
1. Rex - 949 pt
2. Jeff in Texas - 854 pt
3. Perdida - 822 pt
4. Wannadoo75 - 809 pt
5. Graveller - 778 pt
6. Pyotr - 736 pt
7. CrossCourtBH - 732 pt
8. Ace2Ace - 703 pt
9. Serenarulz - 289 pt
10. Mytiwtiw - 285 pt
