O-M-G

RandomSkan's team is intact through the first round. Will wonders never cease.

RSkan's reaction: "meh ..."
go firmly to the window
and listen with deep emotion,
but not with the whining, the pleas of the coward;
listen-your final pleasure-to the voices,
to the exquisite music of that strange procession

Appears Jo-Willy will be another casualty for my team, playing some horrible tennis at the moment and deserves to lose. These errors he's making are careless, amateurish and lady-like. To think that he's won 3 titles this year playing like this. Yet, players do have off days.

someone please explain the formula behind Thiem's 4,000,000,000 total points after only a R2 victory. Did he win 6-0, 6-0, 6-0; every game at love and he did not engage in more than 2 total strokes per point? Even then I still don't get how some teams have earned 480 or 570 points

 Go to the Teams' page:
http://www.tennisgamers.com/board/slam ... kanCanTest
Under the players' stats, (towards the bottom of the table), click on the link "Players' contributions'.
That will display how many points the players are earning depending on where they are placed in the teams.
Meanwhile, I'll double-check his score on the board.

There was a typo in his score.
First set was recorded at 75-5 instead of 7-5 ...
Thanks for spotting out the error.

Wozniacki beats Abanda 6-0 6-0 ... Tons of Domination points. Luckily, Caro is not in any team. :)
Someone forgot to tell Abanda this was Fed Cup.

With the Tsonga defeat, Round 1 of the 2017 RG Skan is in the bag. Sphrontanacier leads the pack with 286 points, a 7-point lead over Pingpong0_, with JazzNU sitting a further point back in third. The leading team, Terre gagnante, comprises

1. Nadal
2. Halep
3. Muguruza
4. Thiem
5. Pavlyuchenkova
6. Goffin

55 teams lost at least 1 player in R1 [with 1 contestant mistaking this for You Can't Win Jack and losing 5 of 6]. This leaves 15 teams through R1 fully intact:

Sphrontanacier
PingPong0_
JazzNU
MunchmaQuchi
TERRASTAR18
Borenore2
Zvezda_red
Charlie02123
Pandacris
LaughingCavalier
Tiko
RandomSkan [yes, you read that right]
Pazo77
Ribbons
Brens

On to Round 2!!!
go firmly to the window
and listen with deep emotion,
but not with the whining, the pleas of the coward;
listen-your final pleasure-to the voices,
to the exquisite music of that strange procession

This may never happen again and I know Peter, Grav and Ace have been keeping me or trying to keep me down for years

But like my boy I refused to give up and today I my July 2011 :-)

You have three men at the top, Zvevda?? It's working for now, but you won't maximize the ladies' championship points.

Oh well, go Zvevda :)

He doesn't expect any lady to make the Semi Final. :) So he doesn't need them. Good strategy here.#ed_op#br#ed_cl#What he really wanted is to have 6 men in his team.#ed_op#br#ed_cl#

i'm shocked my 3 girls are all still in the tournament. the draw is much more stable with the men, in my opinion.

I don't think anyone would be shocked if none of the top 4 ladies were in the semis.

i'm hoping all 3 of my ladies make the SFs and two the finals

I'm hoping the worst name in tennis wins it all
